A two days’ Workshop was conducted to second year students of faculty of arts in order to encourage involvement of students of Art Faculty with University Business Linkage (UBL) – Jaffna

- Mr.Thampiraja Sureskumar, Managing director Graftfactory (Pvt) Ltd, Kopay, a successful entrepreneur in graft industry
- Mrs. Manchula Srirangathas, Managing Director (Maha Fashion Corner) an academic, Trainer, Designer and Producer of artificial handicraft jewelries
- Target audience: Students of Art Faculty were invited
- Attendance: 310 students of Arts Faculty

- An introduction lecture on nature of unemployment among the arts graduates in university of Jaffna and contribution of UBL to arts graduates was done by Professor S. Santhirasegaram.
- Mr. Tharmarasa Nirojan, an arts graduate (Tamil) from University of Jaffna and Managing Director of "Suncoir" has delivered a motivational lecture on University business linkage as ways to succeed unemployment problem among arts graduates
- Mr.Thampiraja Sureskumar, Managing director Graftfactory (Pvt) Ltd, Kopay, a successful entrepreneur in graft industry, shared experiences on ‘Handicraft industry for tourism’ and ‘Export market from wastes’ in North.
- Mrs. Manchula Srirangathas, Managing Director (Maha Fashion Corner) an academic, Trainer, Designer and Producer of artificial handicraft jewelries did a lecture on ‘Small capital and large earning for women in artificial jewelries’
