Ubihan is the largest barangay in Meycauayan with a total land area of 4,876,593 sq. mtrs. It is composed of eight (8) sitios (Sunog, Ubihan, Sulok, Linad, Asana, Apugan, tinik and kaubihanan) with 565 households and a total population of 2,678. It is one of the twenty six baraggay comprising the city of Meycauayan, located on the Northeasthern part of the town. It is bounded by Marilao Bulacan on the east, Binuangan, Obando on the west, Obando Bulacan provincial road on the north, and Liputan, Meycauayan River on the south.

Ubihan is an island surrounded by fishery; more than half of the total land areas are fishponds and its common transport is a motorboat. The community’s main source of income is fishing, fishponds workers, banca drivers/operator, carpenters and a jack of all trades, and overseas Filipino workers.

Majority of the residents are native of the place and their relatives though there are some transient residing in the barangay. The community is being served by Manila Electric Company for its lighting and the people get its water supply from the deep wells. There are two health units, one daycare, one public elementary school and one public secondary school that will sustain their health and basic education.

The Barangay main source of income is its share from the income revenue allotment and it share from the real property taxes which is used to fund ongoing programs and projects. The programs and projects of the barangay which we consider helpful in the realization of some school objectives are: The Nutrition program, Health and Sanitation Program, Home and Community Food Production Program, Pre- Education program, and the Zero-waste Management projects.
