On April 16, 2002, a parcel of land measuring 600 sq. meters was donated by Mr. Bonifacio Aguirre, heir of Luzviminda Mendoza, 500 sq. meters for the construction of Barangay High School and the remaining 100 sq. meters was donated to the barangay. A letter dated May 8, 2006 addressed to Superintendent Teofila P. Villanueva, ED.d.,CESO IV, office of Schools Division Superintendent, Division of Bulacan informing her office that the Local Government Unit of Meycauayan, Bulacan through the initiative of Late Honorable Mayor Eduardo A. Alarilla had completed the construction of a two-storey building with two classroom intended for public secondary education at Barangay Ubihan, Meycauayan, Bulacan. The construction of the said building was in line with the programs and projects of the municipality which aim to provide free high school education in the aforementioned barangay. Included in the said letter was the request for assistance in the approval for opening of the extension school at Barangay Ubihan School year 2006-2007. On the same date mentioned earlier, a letter addressed to the office of The DepEd Regional Director, Dinah F. Mindo in Maimpis, Director San Fernando, Pampanga, was also made through the office of Schools Division Superintendent, Division of Bulacan.
On June, 2006, Mr. Rosauro A. Villanueva, Principal II of Meycauayan National High School instructed Rizaldy C. Pidlaoan, Master Teacher I to become the first OIC-of Meycauayan National High School-Ubihan extension with four teachers namely Mr. Revan F. Villadoz, Mrs. Mary Grace M. Godoy, Ms. Angelica L. Villadoz and mrs. Ederlyn N. Rodela (funded by the Local School Board). On that same year the school offered only two year level (1st year and 2nd year). On the 27th day of July 2006 the Ubihan High school was inaugurated.
On September 2006, a letter dated August 29, 2006, from the Division of Bulacan addressed to the principal, Rosauro A. Villanueva stating that the said request for the establishment of an extension school at Barangay Ubihan, Meycauayan, has pending attachment of additional documents as follows: map showing the elementary schools within the service area of the proposed extension school, names, addresses and enrollment of public and private schools in the municipality, School Site Delopment Plan of the proposed extension school, site ownership document of the proposed extension school in favor of DepEd. On October 4, first endorsement letter from the Division of Bulacan recommending approval of the establishment of an extension of Meycauayan High School at Barangay Ubihan was forwarded to the office of the Regional Director at Maimpis, San Fernando, Pampanga. On the second endorsement dated December 8, 2006, from the office of the Regional Director, Meycauayan National High School-Ubihan Extension stated that the said proposed establishment of school will be inspected on January, 2007. Summer of 2007 another two-storey building with two classrooms was built in preparation for the upcoming 3rd year and 4th year students. Third endorsement was dated January 26, 2007, released from the office of the Schools Division Superintendent dated February 12, 2007. On the 4th endorsement dated June 23, 2008 from the Office of DEpEd Region III, approving the establishment of Meycauayan National High School-Ubihan Annex effective school year 2008-2009, stating that the said annex school was not yet separated from the mother/main school signed by Mario L. Ramirez, CESO IV,Director IV. On July 7, 2008, the 5th endorsement from the office of the Schools Division Superintendent to the Principal
of Meycauayan National High School for information and guidances June 2009, Mr. Genaro V. Relente, Head Teacher III was assigned as Officer-In-Charge of Ubihan High school with seven teachers.On February 16, 2009, Resolution no. 2009 – 09 approved by the City Mayor Hon. Joan V. Alarilla, a resolution providing for the establishment of a new Public Secondary School in Barangay Ubihan as separate and independent Secondary School in the City of Meycauayan, Bulacan. On December 1, 2009, 1st endorsement to the Regional Director, Mario L. Ramirez, CESO IV the request for separation of Ubihan High School (Meycauayan National High School Annex) from the Division Office, Malolos, Bulacan. On March 21, 2011, 2nd endorsement to the Schools Division Sperintendent, Division of Bulacan, approves the request for the separation of Ubihan High School from Meycauayan High School Annex, both in Ubihan, City of Meycauayan, Bulacan with attached Permit No. PHS No. 011, s. 2011. On March 25, 2011, 1st endorsement to the Principal of Meycauayan National High School from the office of Schools Division Superintendent the approved request for the separation of Ubihan High School (Meycauayan National High School Annex) as an independent Secondary School with Government Permit (PHS) No. 011, s. 2011 to operate complete Secondary Course (First to Fourth Year High School) effective school year 2010-2011. On March 21, 2011 pursuant to the provisions of DepEd Order No. 1, s. 2003 and Republic Act 9155, the UBIHAN HIGH SCHOOL, Ubihan, City of Meycauayan, Bulacan with Government Permit (PHS) No. 011, s. 2011 is hereby granted authority to operate the Complete Secondary Course (First to Fourth year High School effective School year 2010-2011).
On May 28, 2012 through the recommendation of Mr. Rosauro A. Villanueva, Mr. Pascualito C. Santos Jr. Head teacher I from Meycauayan National High School was advised by the Schools Division Superintendent Edna S. Zerrudo, Ed.D., CESO V to become the Officer-In-Charge of Ubihan High School.
On Dec. 2, 2012, a two-storey two classrooms bldg. (DepEd Bldg 1) was built (Contractor: S and F Construction & Development Corporation; Implementer: DPWH Bulacan 2nd District Engineering Office). The construction of the said building was finished on July 2, 2013. (Note: the construction was finished w/o wooden doors at the 2nd floor Windows does not have jalousies, and roof has no ceiling.). The completion of the said building was implemented by DPWH under the construction project of TM Abad. Presently the first floor of the building was utilized by the grade 9 students as academic room, and the second storey now serve as library and faculty room.
On the 18th day of July, 2014 another two storey two classroom building (DepEd Bldg 4) was built, again the project was implemented by DPWH under the construction project of Puregold Construction & Development Corporation which was completed last December 20, 2014. Presently the two old bldg. (Bldg 2 and Bldg 3) was under rehabilitation (Contractor: TM Abad; Implementer: DPWH Bulacan 2nd District Engineering Office).
His appointment to the post correspond challenges and responsibilities on how he will deliver quality education and how to have a well-managed school.
On the 9th day of June 2016 Ms. Marilou S. Alcanar became the 4th Head Teacher I of Ubihan High School as assigned by Schools Division Superintendent Norma P. Esteban, Ed. D CESO VI.
