I have my credit card and Paypal set as payment methods in my Uber app and want to set my credit card as the default but I keep having to change it off of Paypal because it keeps setting it to that. Is there any way to set the default to my card besides removing Paypal? My card sometimes gets frozen due to my bank's trigger happy fraud alerts so I like to have Paypal as a reliable backup but it's really annoying to have to keep telling it to use my card every time.

My company just started to use Concur a few weeks ago and I recently set up my Uber Business account with my new company card. While using the app over the weekend (specifically Uber Eats), it automatically inserted my company card for payment. However, I quickly noticed and had Uber change payment to my personal credit card after the order went through.

The initial charge and reimbursement show on my credit card statement, as well as an available expense on Concur. Even though the balance is zero. How do I deal with having these transactions on my Concur, even though money is not owed?

We've had a few of our corporate card holders caught out with this. They're trained to check they're using the right profile with Uber, but didn't realise that Uber Eats picks up the last-used profile from Uber.

Now, you can get a complimentary Uber One membership when you pay for a monthly plan with your Savor or Quicksilver card. Plus, certain eligible cardholders also get 10% cash back on purchases with Uber and Uber Eats.

1Now through November 14, 2024, eligible Capital One Savor, SavorOne, SavorOne Student and Quicksilver Student cardholders will earn 10% cash back on qualifying purchases made through the Uber and Uber Eats apps (or dedicated websites) with their eligible card. Additionally, these cardholders will receive a monthly statement credit for each Uber One monthly membership fee fully paid for with their eligible card through November 14, 2024. Qualifying purchases and Uber One monthly membership fees must post to an eligible Capital One account between 12:00 a.m. ET, November 15, 2022, and 11:59 p.m. ET, November 14, 2024. Offer valid in the U.S. only. Uber One monthly membership and purchases through Uber and Uber Eats within the U.S. territories may be excluded. Purchases that post outside of this offer period, purchases made outside of the U.S., Uber gift cards, and Uber One membership fees are not qualifying purchases and are not eligible for the enhanced cash back rewards under this offer; however, these purchases will earn the base rewards earn rate previously disclosed under the terms and conditions of your rewards program. Rewards are subject to the terms and conditions disclosed when you opened your account and any subsequent amendments.

Eligible Quicksilver (excluding Quicksilver Student) and QuicksilverOne cardholders can receive a monthly statement credit for an Uber One monthly membership for up to six (6) consecutive months now through November 14, 2024 when paying for Uber One monthly membership fully with their eligible card (the first monthly membership payment, after an Uber One 30-day free trial, if applicable, must post by June 14, 2024 to be eligible for a full six (6) consecutive months of statement credits within the offer period). Qualifying Uber One monthly membership fees must post to an eligible Capital One account between 12:00 a.m. ET, November 15, 2022, and 11:59 p.m. ET, November 14, 2024. Offer valid in the U.S. only; Uber One monthly membership within the U.S. territories may be excluded. If you cancel your membership prior to the end of the consecutive six (6) months credited membership period, the benefit may terminate and you may not be eligible for any additional statement credits.

Your account must be open and in good standing to be eligible for these offers. Rewards and each Uber One monthly membership credit, as applicable, will be applied to your account within 1-2 billing cycles. Your eligible card must be open and in good standing at the time of statement credit fulfillment. If you upgrade or change your account to another card, you will not be eligible for this offer. One Uber One membership offer per cardholder. Offer valid for consumer, non-commercial use only; not eligible for Uber Freight or Uber for Business. We reserve the right to disqualify any cardholder from participation in this offer in the event of fraud, abuse, or a violation of the terms as determined at our discretion. Such termination may result in the forfeiture of any benefits or accumulated rewards. This offer is subject to change.

Once the credited membership period expires, your Uber One membership will auto-renew every month and your card on file will be charged, unless you cancel your membership prior to the expiration of your credited membership period and the next billing day thereafter. To avoid charges: 1) if you are more than 48 hours before the expiration of your credited membership period, cancel in the Uber One section of the Uber app by selecting Manage Membership, then End membership, and then confirming you wish to cancel your membership; or 2) if you are within 48 hours of such billing day, contact Uber Support to cancel. Hi Everyone

I recently started using Uber and I have opted to pay for my rides with PayPal. All of my past rides up until 19/04/2018 were charged to my credit card - which is how I prefer my PayPal payments to be charged (as it shows immediately in my bank statements). I received a payment through PayPal a few weeks ago and paid for my Uber rides with it, but once the balance was used all my rides started getting paid through my bank account and not my credit card.

I set my Credit Card as my preferred payment method but that hasn't changed how my rides are being paid, and PayPal's customer service were insistent that due to their "pre-set" payment hierarchy payments are always made 1. Balance 2. Bank Account 3. Credit/Debit Card. However, as I previously explained, all of my past rides were paid through my credit card and not the bank account prior to my account having a balance added to it through a PayPal payment.

They insist that they have "clarified" it for me, when I was looking for a solution to this problem. I figured I might as well removed my bank account if that's the case, but because Uber payments take days to process through bank account - I can't as it's telling me I can't remove it due to a "pending payment".

Has anyone been able to prioritise credit card payments through PayPal or know how to make it so I can use my credit card for payments just like I used to despite PayPal insisting I couldn't?

Thanks in advance ff782bc1db
