NSCI 201

NSCI 201 is the other neuroscience specific course taken in second year, likely in the spring semester following NSCI 200. This course continues the introduction to the field of neuroscience, this time focusing on how the nervous system relates to and influences behaviour and cognition of organisms! 

This course compliments NSCI 200 nicely by beginning the integration of what you're learning to the larger organism as a whole. With lots of animal models, NSCI 201 focuses on one classic form of behaviour each week, ranging from sleep to aggression to love. This course also contains a lab/tutorial aspect, continuing to help you build the skills necessary to becoming a successful member of the (neuro)scientific community!
