1.2 Automatically Collected Information

We may collect limited technical information necessary for the operation of the App, including:

• Anonymous device identifiers (UUIDs)

• Usage statistics and message counts for rate limiting

• Subscription status and purchase verification data through Apple StoreKit

• Basic diagnostic information required for crash detection and service reliability

This information is not used for advertising or user profiling.

1.3 Information We Do Not Collect

BrowserWrite does not intentionally collect:

• Your name, phone number, or mailing address

• Browsing activity outside the App

• Contacts, photos, or files unrelated to the App

2. How Your Data Is Processed

2.1 AI Message Processing

When you send a message:

1. Your request is securely transmitted through encrypted connections

2. The request may pass through our backend infrastructure for:

   • authentication,

   • rate limiting,

   • subscription validation,

   • request routing

3. The request is forwarded to supported AI providers to generate responses

4. Responses are streamed back to your device

We do not permanently store the content of your messages on our servers.

2.2 Third-Party AI Providers

BrowserWrite may share message content with third-party AI providers solely for generating responses and AI-powered features.

These providers may include:

Provider processes data according to its own privacy policy and terms.

2.3 Backend Infrastructure

Our backend services may:

• Verify authentication tokens

We do not use your conversations for:

• or AI model training.

3. Data Storage

3.1 Local Storage

Your conversations and workspace data are primarily stored locally on your Mac, including:

• Chat history

• Saved conversations

• Bookmarks and annotations

• Generated artifacts and documents

• Preferences and settings

Deleting the App or clearing local data may permanently remove this information.

3.2 Security Measures

BrowserWrite uses industry-standard security measures, including:

• Encryption for sensitive local data

• HTTPS/TLS encrypted network communication

• Secure authentication tokens

• Sandboxed macOS application architecture where applicable

No system can guarantee absolute security, but we continuously work to protect your information.

3.3 No Automatic Cloud Sync

BrowserWrite does not automatically upload your conversations to personal cloud storage services unless you explicitly use a feature that requires online processing.

We do not:

• Sell personal information

• Share user data with advertisers

• Use conversations for targeted advertising

• Share data with data brokers

• Track users across third-party apps or websites

We only share limited data when necessary to:

• provide AI responses,

• verify subscriptions,

5. Subscriptions & Fair Usage

5.1 Free Tier

Free users may receive limited AI usage and access to selected models or features.

Limits may change over time and are displayed within the App.

5.2 Paid Plans

Paid subscriptions may include:

• Higher message limits

• Access to premium AI models

• Advanced research tools

• Image and video generation

• Additional productivity features

Usage limits may reset periodically depending on the selected plan.

5.3 Subscription Billing

Subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID account.

• Payments are charged at confirmation of purchase

• Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled before renewal

• You can manage subscriptions in Apple Account Settings

Refunds are subject to Apple’s policies.

6. Your Rights & Choices

6.1 Delete Local Data

You may delete local App data at any time through:

Settings → Privacy → Clear All Local Data

This action permanently deletes stored conversations and settings from your device.

6.2 Data Access & Portability

You may manually copy or export content created within the App where supported.

7. Children's Privacy

BrowserWrite is not intended for children under 13 years of age.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically.

Changes become effective when the updated policy is posted within the App or on our website.

Continued use of BrowserWrite after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
