Theatre Guild

Welcome the UA Theatre Guild website! Theatre Guild is a registered student organization open to all students at the University of Akron. Yes, that includes undergraduate and graduate students. Theatre Guild works closely with the Theatre Department at the University of Akron with a common goal of learning, creating, and spreading the love of theatre.

The basic skills of theatre are highly important to many career paths. Students gain vital dexterity in life skills such as interpersonal communications, how to work as a team, the necessity of careful goal-design, commitment to deadlines, and flexibility in creative problem-solving. Theatre Guild is an opportunity for students of all majors to collaborate and create performances/events to be enjoyed by students, staff, and the public.
