oSTEM @ the University of Arizona

Welcome to the University of Arizona oSTEM chapter!

oSTEM is an organization for LGBTQ+ students and professionals in STEM.

What do we do? A little bit of everything! We have weekly meetings, where we have a mixture of professional and social events.

Our professional events include holding panels with STEM academics and professionals, doing workshops, reviewing skills needed to succeed in STEM, attending the annual oSTEM conference, and more!

Our social events vary, and we typically have one to two per month. these include movie nights, game nights, crafting sessions, holiday parties, and study groups.

Have an idea for a social or a professional event you want to see us host? Let us know! oSTEM is for students, by students, and we want to make sure our club is a space where all club members feel welcome, have fun, learn a little, and, most importantly, can make great friends.

Our oSTEM chapter meets on Tuesdays at 6:30PM in the LGBTQ Center, which is located on the 4th floor of the Student Union Memorial Center. Most of our meetings run for an hour. Come join us!
