Who We Are:

The Graduate Christian Fellowship (GCF) is an interdenominational fellowship of Christian graduate students and postdoctoral fellows.  Started in 1995, the Graduate Christian Fellowship at the University of Arizona is an officially recognized club of the Associated Students of the University of Arizona (ASUA) and an affiliate of InterVarsity’s Graduate and Faculty Ministry.

We are a diverse group of graduate and professional students from many different Christian faith backgrounds.  GCF is not affiliated with any church or denomination. Our members include students from all over the world who are in many different graduate and professional programs across the university. Graduate school is often a very different experience from being an undergraduate student or from being a working professional, and we strive to be a welcoming and supportive environment for graduate students to stay connected to other Christians who are facing similar challenges. We regularly host many different events throughout the academic year, so you can find ways to participate that work for your schedule. Any graduate or professional student is welcome to join us any time.

Our Purpose:

The purpose of the Graduate Christian Fellowship is to encourage one another as graduate students to be faithful to Jesus Christ during our graduate studies and to represent Him in our graduate departments. We regularly hold large group meetings and small group bible studies, and our members regularly organize various social activities. GCF is not meant to serve as a replacement for involvement in the local church.
