Last 16 February, UAC Berhad was invited to a Teh Tarik santai session with Boustead Holdings GCEO En. Izaddeen Daud at Royale Chulan Damansara, Petaling Jaya. It was a laid-back session with plenty of snacks and teh tarik to go around.

The Group CEO then shared about the challenging times ahead and what could and should be done to minimise the impact on our company and industry. 

Nonetheless, he also congratulated UAC Berhad on a job well done for our constant positive numbers despite unfavourable conditions such as the COVID-19 pandemic, rising commodity costs, and others.

UAC Berhad was invited by KTSPS Kelantan to give an Industrialised Building System (IBS) Basics talk to their fellow contractors and other related personnel.

On 20 February, around 60 people showed up for the 3-hour course and they were eager to learn more about the properties and benefits of switching to using IBS in their construction instead of traditional masonry.

UAC SolidPanel is an IBS certified by CIDB (Construction Industry Development Board) Malaysia that is precast, lightweight, cleaner to work with, and allows for about 3× faster construction speed. It comes in two different thicknesses, 75mm and 100mm, and has a fire rating of 2 hours each.
