On May 2-5 2023, UAC Berhad teamed up with the REHDA Institute for an IBS Workshop in Singapore, with a specific focus on IBS structures in the local context. At the workshop, UAC Berhad delved into their work on load-bearing products and refining the connection details between IBS walls and structures.

The REHDA Institute serves as the educational and research division of Malaysia's Real Estate and Housing Developers' Association (REHDA). It represents the interests of over 1,500 corporate developers in Malaysia, with participation from prominent industry leaders across the nation.

Around 20 representatives from Kiong Gay Plasterceil, one of UAC Berhad's trusted distributor, visited our headquarters in Mutiara Damansara. There was a small refresher course that spanned four hours and included valuable insights into UAC's products, their applications, and the latest updates. 

The session culminated in an on-site visit, showcasing the practical use of UAC's building materials. The primary aim was to refresh and educate our distributors on any new innovations or procedures from UAC, reinforcing our commitment to excellence in product knowledge and customer support.

The Strategic Collaboration Certificate Signing Ceremony was held at Dewan Serbaguna, Politeknik Melaka (PMK) on May 15, 2023. The event saw the participation of 21 top management representatives from 12 companies who agreed to collaborate with PMK. 

UAC Berhad was one of the collaborating partners among other industry giants such as Kosmo Bina Constructions Sdn. Bhd., Khidmat Jaya Ent. Sdn. Bhd., Pusat Asasi STEM UMT, Pejabat Perikanan Negeri Melaka, Mycest Solution, Badan Kesukarelawan Al-Taqwa MAIM, Zielmark Sdn. Bhd., Kumpulan Melaka Berhad (KMB), Persatuan Penduduk Taman Pahlawan, University of Cyberjaya, and SMK Klebang Besar.

UAC Berhad recently hosted a vibrant Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebration at its headquarters on 16 May, spreading festive cheer among the employees who were also joined by the outstation sales personnel. 

The event was marked by the joyous spirit of the occasion, with delicious food, refreshing drinks, and plenty of laughter. To add a special touch, the celebration concluded with a birthday tribute to all staff members with past birthdays in the year, fostering a sense of unity and camaraderie among the team.

UAC Berhad recently organised a comprehensive roadshow and workshop at Ampang Business Centre on May 18th, focusing on the technical installation of UAC Berhad's IBS series, UAC SolidPanel. 

Attendees were from KC Aluminium, one of our primary contractors and subcontractors. This successful initiative marks the beginning of a series of similar roadshows scheduled across various locations in Malaysia in the coming months, reflecting UAC Berhad's commitment to knowledge-sharing and strengthening partnerships within the industry.
