Frequently Asked Questions

1. When do I arrive? Arrive early! Networking hour will happen from 8:00am-9 am. 

2. Where do I park? There is street parking available around the Hill Student Center. The Cooper Green Deck is a paid parking deck located beside the Hill Student Center. Please arrive early enough to find adequate parking. The Career Center will not reimburse you for parking or pay for parking. 

3. Which school districts will be attending in person? Visit Handshake! 

4. Am I required to stay at the Interview Day once I have completed my interviews? No, but you must interview with a  minimum of five school districts. 

5. Can I interview with more than five school districts? Yes, please sign up to interview with as many districts as you would like. Be sure to sign up on Sign Up Genius by the sign up date. 

1. How do I know who to interview with? Sign up for interviews before November 7th. Once you sign up for interviews you will know who you will interview with on November 7th. 

2. Do I have to sign up for an interview? Yes, you must sign up for interviews by the deadline in order to interview on November 7th. 

3. Can I sign up the day of for all of my interviews? No, you will not be able to sign up for all interviews the day of the event. You will be allowed to adjust your schedule and add school districts. 

4. How long will each interview be? Twenty minutes, fifteen minutes to interview and five minutes to transition to the next school district. 

5. What if I change my mind about interviewing with a particular school district the day of? Please connect with the school district and let them know you do not plan to interview with them and let the Career Center team know so that we can make a note of it. Please try to let us know as soon as possible.
