New Initiate Requirements

Major

Students must be enrolled in Public Health or a Health Education program.

GPA

Students must have an overall UA GPA of 2.75 or higher.

Students must ALSO have a GPA of 3.0 or higher within their major.

Service Hours

Students must have completed 10 service hours.

• Hours from Fall 2026 and/or Spring 2027 may be applied.

• Eligible hours may come from ESG or departmental events; external health education service opportunities, and/or community volunteer activities.

• Hours will be documented by an honor code system.
