Hi, my name is Ty William Larry Pearson and I am an author and digital media designer in the Minneapolis, Minnesota area. I create texts, graphics, videos, and augmented spaces. This site houses samples of my work and educational experiences in each of these areas. Additionally, it contains contact information to discuss potential work opportunities. I hope we can collaborate!
Brief Bio
I grew up in the Twin Cities' suburbs and discovered my fascination with imagination and storytelling early. I created countless rudimentary picture books, comic strips, and even short films with my parents’ digital camera during my childhood. By my early teens, I was writing short fiction, performing free-verse poetry, playing music, and managing a small YouTube Channel partnered with Google AdSense.
Eager to explore artistic and urban culture, I nearly moved to Chicago to chase a career as a musician and filmmaker in 2020. However, I opted to attend college in Duluth to stay closer to family and friends during the COVID-19 pandemic.
I graduated with my B.A. in Writing Studies, along with two minors and a certificate from the University of Minnesota Duluth in May of 2024. For more on my education, see the section below.
