The Collective of Applied Magic (est. 1333 AE.) is a guild of magi on the island of Autarkia, in the Fire Island chain. Originally a school created by Onyx Ravenstride, it transitioned to a collective of wizards focused on magical goods and services, including magical education. It offers varied courses, covering the scholar magics (elementalist, chaos magic and necromancy), hybrid studies (shadow magic) and ancillary professions (herbalism, alchemy, smithing, artifice). Prospective students go through an interview process to be placed in the right curriculum, at the appropriate level. From there, progression happens through a mix of theoretical and practical exams, culminating in the demanding graduation trial.
