About Me

I am a senior at IUPUI studying Health Services Management through the Fairbanks School of Public Health.

Health Services Management - When I first started college, I knew I wanted to major in a degree that had something to do with healthcare. After briefly pursuing and taking classes for a more direct patient care degree, I decided that wasn't for me. I finally figured out that I wanted to pursue a career more on the administration side. I came across this major by one of my good friends, and I immediately knew it was for me. This major provides the opportunity to affect and change patient lives from behind the scenes, which is exactly what I want to do.

Skills and Strengths - I have been in the workforce for the past 6 years, where I have gained many skills and strengths. Some of these include: supervising and managing other employees/tasks, computer skills such as how to utilize Microsoft Office and Google Suite, project management, time management, and organization. I feel I also exhibit strengths such as patience, trustworthiness, dedication, and versatility. All these skills and strengths are transferable and are good to have for any job I may encounter in the future. They have all helped develop me professionally, and personally, and I am excited to carry them forward.
