Overview:
Each year, the DEDA Entrepreneurship Competition allows engineering and computer science students to participate in an open design competition where they have 3-4 weeks to develop a solution to a problem of their choice. These problems range from everyday annoyances to global issues. The first part of the competition is held within individual classes, where students vote on which teams they thought were best in areas of creativity, feasibility, and marketability. Then the top teams from each class are invited to present in front of industry judges, who selected the best teams overall.
