Handmade soaps can last a lot longer than the mass-produced ones, but they really need to drain and dry between uses or they can get mushy. Add on one of our Sisal Soap Savers or Bamboo Soap "Dishes" to help with that.
Sisal Soap Saver & Scrubbie is a great way to keep your soaps dry between uses and just grab and scrub in the shower. These are machine washable and biodegradable, unlike those plastic scrubbies that I know I always loved (til I thought about it. You can also throw a bar of kitchen soap in the scrubbie and use it to scrub your kitchen surfaces! And those little bits of soap bars left at the "end"? Throw them in here and get some use out of them. Each for only $2
When we first tried these Bamboo Soap "Dishes" we thought, "no way, they will make a mess all over the sink/counter!" but they don't! And they let the bar of soap dry between uses. So, so much better than plastic. Sustainable bamboo that is also biodegradable. Each for only $2
