Q1: What is Cub Scout Pack 67? A: Cub Scout Pack 67 is a group of boys and girls in Kindergarten through Fifth Grade who participate in fun and educational activities to develop character, citizenship, and personal fitness.
Q2: Who can join Cub Scout Pack 67? A: Any boy or girl in Kindergarten through Fifth Grade can join. Our members typically come from the Twinsburg, OH area and attends any school either with Twinsburg School District, Home schooled or Private School. .
Q3: What is the difference between a Den and a Pack in Cub Scouts? A: A Den is a small group of Scouts who are in the same grade at school and are all working toward the same rank. A Pack is the collection of all Dens affiliated with a single Charter Organization.
Q4: Can girls join Cub Scouts? A: Yes! In 2018, the Boy Scouts of America started a process to introduce girls into its Cub Scout and Boy Scout programs. Our Pack transitioned to Family Scouting in the 2018-2019 scout year.
Q5: Will my child participate in outdoor activities? A: Yes, each Rank requires your Scout to participate in some outdoor activities. We plan to offer activities at least every quarter, including hikes, bowling, Fun N Stuff, family campouts, and Summer Camps.
Q6: How can I sign my child up for Pack 67? A: You can start your son or daughter’s Scouting Adventure by starting the application process on our JOIN page.
Q7: I missed the annual signup night, can my son or daughter still join Pack 67? A: Absolutely! We accept new members year-round. Just head over to our JOIN page to start the application process. Your Scout’s Den Leader will work with you to complete the requirements your Scout needs to complete to earn their rank.
Q8: How many times will we meet each month? A: You should expect to be invited to 2 or 3 Cub Scout meetings every month. Our Dens meet at least 1 time each month and all of our Dens come together monthly for a Pack meeting or other outing.
Q9: How much does it cost to be a Scout? A: Our Leaders work hard to keep the cost of our program low. The majority of our expenses are covered through our Annual Dues and our popcorn sales fundraiser. You should expect to spend a certain amount in your first year to cover your annual dues, purchasing your uniform, and rank-specific handbook.
