About the Owners

Jakob Montesi is a co-owner and founder of Twin Timbers Tree Service. He grew up in Evergreen and graduated from Evergreen High School in 2020. After he graduated, he attended college at the University of Northwestern in St. Paul Minnesota and played both football and lacrosse there. While in school in Minnesota, he spent his summers working at Evergreen Fire Rescue as a sawyer on the Wildland crew where he refined his chainsaw skills. He is currently in his 3rd season as a wildland fire fighter and has a passion for cutting trees. He and Adam decided to turn this passion into Twin Timbers Tree Service together outside of their time at EFR.

Adam was born and raised in Pennsylvania. When He graduated high school, he moved to Colorado to study electrical and robotic engineering at Colorado State University. Fortunately, as he pursued his studies, a new love began to form for Adam. He began to pursue a new path in the art and science of forestry. Since then, he has been on the Evergreen Fire Rescue wildland crew as a sawyer where he met Jakob. it was here they decided to join forces and open Twin Timbers together.
