This association is a legally established, non-profit social organization. It utilizes forest resource survey and detection technology to construct information on the distribution of flora and fauna resources in Taiwan's forest ecosystems. Through forest planning, forestry policy analysis, forest stand management, evaluation of diverse service functions of natural resources, and assessment of energy service efficiency, it aims to integrate and harmonize various functions of forest ecosystems. The goal is to create optimal economic value for forest ecosystems and to practice sustainable natural conservation benefits. The scope of this association covers forest biodiversity, health, disasters, energy, climate, water and soil resources, and related industries. It is dedicated to the integration, education, and promotion of forest ecosystem observation information, enhancing the assessment of the dynamic changes and value functions of terrestrial ecosystems on Earth, and promoting research and knowledge exchange on related scientific and management strategies.
