1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Twen5 ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree, you must stop using the App and delete it from your device.

These Terms form a legal agreement between you and the developer, Kaan Dındış.

2. Description of the App

Twen5 is a pomodoro-style focus timer application for iOS. It allows you to:

• Run focus sessions and short/long breaks with customizable durations

• Automatically chain sessions with auto-start options

• Set a daily focus goal and track progress toward it

• Receive local notifications when sessions end, plus an optional daily reminder

• View focus statistics (daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly summaries and streaks) calculated from your local data

• Unlock premium features with an auto-renewing subscription ("Twen5 Pro")

Statistics and reminders run entirely on your device. Notifications are local, not server push messages.

All user-generated data — including session records and preferences — is stored locally on your device. Twen5 does not operate a backend server for storing your personal data.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Twen5. You are responsible for complying with all applicable laws in your region.

4. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Use the App only for lawful personal purposes

• Not reverse-engineer, decompile, modify, or tamper with the App

• Not introduce harmful or abusive content

• Not attempt to circumvent subscription or access restrictions

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the security of your device

• Understanding that deleting the App permanently removes all locally stored data

5. Subscriptions & Payments

Twen5 Pro provides access to premium features through an auto-renewing subscription billed via the Apple App Store.

5.1 Subscription Plans

Twen5 Pro is available as an auto-renewing subscription. One or more plan options may be offered (for example, different billing periods); all plans unlock the same premium features:

• Custom timer durations — set your own focus, short break, and long break lengths, and the long-break interval

• Control over Auto-start Breaks and Auto-start Pomodoros

• Full access to the Stats screen — Focus Time and Sessions across Day, Week, Month, and Year, with charts and period-over-period comparisons

• The daily "time to focus" reminder at a custom time

• Access to future premium-only features as they are released

An introductory free trial may be offered to eligible new subscribers. If a trial is offered and you do not cancel before it ends, your subscription automatically converts to a paid plan billed to your Apple ID.

The available plans, their length and price, and any free trial are always shown on the paywall inside the app before you subscribe, and on the App Store listing. These offerings may vary by region and change over time; the current terms shown at the point of purchase apply.

5.2 Free Plan Limits

Free users can use Twen5 with the following:

• The complete pomodoro timer — focus sessions, short breaks, and long breaks — running on the rhythm chosen during onboarding

• Automatic session chaining using the default auto-start behavior

• The Today view, including your daily focus goal, progress, and session history

• Best Streak (your all-time longest run) on the Stats tab

• Session-end local notifications, when notifications are enabled

The following are available only with Twen5 Pro:

• Changing timer durations and the long-break interval

• Changing Auto-start Breaks and Auto-start Pomodoros

• The full Stats screen (Focus Time and Sessions; Best Streak stays free for everyone)

• The daily "time to focus" reminder

You can use the free plan indefinitely within these limits.

5.3 Billing & Renewal

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID at the time of purchase

• Subscriptions renew automatically on the same calendar day of each billing cycle

• To avoid renewal, cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period

• Manage or cancel your subscription via: iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → Twen5

• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; Pro access remains active until then

• The developer cannot cancel, modify, pause, or issue refunds for subscriptions

• Refunds are governed by Apple's refund policy; the developer does not process refunds directly

5.4 When a Subscription Expires

If your Twen5 Pro subscription ends:

• All existing session records, your streaks, and preferences remain on your device — you will not lose any data

• Pro-only features become unavailable: timer durations and the long-break interval become read-only, Auto-start settings can no longer be changed, the full Stats screen locks again (Best Streak stays visible), and the daily reminder can no longer be edited

• All free-plan features continue to work as usual

• You may resubscribe at any time to restore Pro access

5.5 Restore Purchases

Tap Restore Purchases on the Twen5 Pro paywall. You must be signed in with the same Apple ID used for the original purchase. Your subscription is available on any iOS device signed in with that Apple ID.

Subscriptions cannot be transferred between Apple IDs.

5.6 Family Sharing

Twen5 Pro does not support Family Sharing. Only the purchasing Apple ID receives Pro access.

5.7 Price Changes

We reserve the right to adjust subscription pricing at any time. Apple will notify you at least 30 days before any price increase takes effect. New pricing applies at the next renewal cycle. If you do not agree, you must cancel before the renewal date.

All purchases, billing, and refunds are governed by Apple's Media Services Terms and Conditions:

6. Data Storage & Security

All Twen5 data is stored locally on your device. No session records, personal information, or preferences are transmitted to or stored on external servers operated by us.

You are responsible for backing up your device and securing it with a passcode or biometric authentication. For full details, see the Privacy Policy.

7. Intellectual Property

All rights to the App — including its design, source code, branding, and visual assets — are owned by Kaan Dındış. You may not copy, modify, sell, reverse-engineer, or distribute any part of the App except as expressly permitted by applicable law.

8. Prohibited Conduct

You may not:

• Use the App for any illegal or harmful purpose

• Attempt to interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality

• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any subscription tier

• Manipulate or exploit the free plan limits or Pro access controls

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

Twen5 does not guarantee:

• Uninterrupted or error-free operation

• Timely delivery of local notifications

• Compatibility with all devices or future iOS versions

• Protection against data loss due to device failure, OS updates, or other causes

Twen5 is a productivity tool, not a medical or health application. We are not responsible for outcomes related to your work habits, productivity, or well-being.

We are not responsible for data loss caused by device malfunction, iOS bugs or updates, iCloud issues, app deletion, or storage corruption. Users are responsible for maintaining their own device backups.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:

• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App

• Your sole remedy if dissatisfied with the App is to stop using it and delete it from your device

11. Termination

We may suspend or restrict your access to the App if you violate these Terms, attempt to abuse or defraud the subscription system, or misuse premium features. You may terminate your use of the App at any time by deleting it from your device.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect new features, pricing changes, legal requirements, or other updates. Changes become effective once published in the App or App Store release notes. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Türkiye. Any disputes shall be resolved by the competent courts of Türkiye.
