TUTZAR was born from a simple but powerful idea: communities are stronger when they are prepared.
Our founders—coming from diverse fields such as disaster management, education, technology, and humanitarian work—saw that too often, people only come together after a crisis strikes. TUTZAR was created to change this pattern by building resilience before, during, and after disasters.
From the beginning, TUTZAR has been more than an association. It is a global network of knowledge and action, connecting experts, volunteers, and communities. We work across borders, online and in person, to share best practices, train people, and support local initiatives.
Our journey started with small workshops and online meetings. Today, we collaborate with international partners, universities, and grassroots organizations to make disaster preparedness accessible, inclusive, and practical.
TUTZAR’s story is still being written—together with everyone who joins us.
