Presidency (Executive Leadership)

The Presidency is TUTZAR’s executive leadership team, responsible for strategy, governance, and operational oversight.

It ensures the organization functions effectively and aligns with its mission of disaster preparedness, response, recovery, and education.

Members:

• President – Legal representative of TUTZAR; oversees strategic direction and partnerships.

• Vice President(s) – Supports the President and leads major operational areas or initiatives.

• Secretary – Manages records, documentation, communication, and meeting coordination.

• Treasurer – Oversees finances, budgeting, and transparent fund management.

Community / Working Groups

TUTZAR’s Community and Working Groups are the operational teams that implement programs, engage volunteers, and build global collaboration. Each group focuses on a specific area of TUTZAR’s mission, ensuring effective delivery of education, research, and community support.

Key Groups:

• Knowledge Hub – Organizes community training, workshops, and online courses on disaster preparedness.

• Research Collaboration Hub – Coordinates disaster research, post-disaster assessments, and publications.

• International Cooperation Committee – Manages Erasmus+ projects, conferences, and international partnerships.

• Community Building Team – Engages with communities, organizes events, and fosters local partnerships.

• Social Media Division – Oversees online presence, communication, and outreach to volunteers and the wider public.

These groups work together to create a vibrant, knowledgeable, and globally connected TUTZAR community.

The Board Members guide and supervise TUTZAR’s thematic programs, ensuring alignment with community needs and global best practices.

They collaborate closely with volunteers, experts, and partner organizations.
