Our seventh Tutti concert featured ten performers. We performed repertoire composed by Wolfgang A. Mozart, J.C. Bach, Vittorio Monti, Reinhold Glière and more. The new organizers Erin Ko and Elisa Shinn helped raise around $2,000, making the total fundraised amount over the past seven concerts, surpass $3,000!
Our sixth Tutti concert featured nine performers. We performed repertoire composed by Bruch, Handel, Sibelius, Ponce, Glière, and Schubert. Over the past six concerts, we have raised a total of $1,076.
We look forward to our next concert in the spring!
Our fifth concert featured seven musicians. We performed repertoire composed by Bach, Boccherini, Vivaldi, Schumann and English folk songs. During this concert, we raised a total of $220 to support the Jones Library’s renovation plan.
We look forward to returning to the atrium in August to share our music with everyone!
The fourth Tutti concert featured a grand total of sixteen performers, ten of whom were new to Tutti. We played a variety of repertoire spanning classical music by Bach, Telemann, Corelli, Dvořák, Vivaldi, Mussorgsky, Eccles, and Zili, a string trio arrangement of Astley's Never Gonna Give You Up, festive holiday carols, and had a musician sing Let it Snow with viola and cello accompaniment.
This concert was our last concert of the 2023 season. Thank you again for all your participation and support this year. Tutti will return in June 2024!
Our third concert featured our largest number of performers (15!) and audience yet. We performed a variety of repertoire spanning Mozart, Shostakovich, as well as string quartet arrangement of John Powell's "Test Drive" from the How to Train Your Dragon, a beloved kids movie. We look forward to performing again the library in December with festive tunes for the holiday season.
The Tutti Concert Series has broadened its musical horizons for its second concert. Our program featured nine performers ages 7 to 18, six of whom were new to the series. Our repertoire included Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star, Beethoven's Eyeglasses Duet, and Bon Jovi's Livin' on a prayer. Thank you to all the performers, families and friends who made joined us. We hope you can share your music for the next concert, which will take place on September 10th at 3 PM. We are expecting a larger program and audience!
The Tutti Concert Series is off to a great start! Although the Jones Library flooded a few days before our concert, we were so grateful to be able to perform in the atrium and avoid the stormy weather. This concert featured seven performers ranging from ages 7 to 15, and pieces from folk tunes, Gabriel-Marie, Beethoven, Mozart, and Bach. We raised a total of $255 for the Jones Library's Capital Campaign, as part of their renovation and expansion project.
Thank you to all the performers, families, and Jones Library staff for making this concert possible!
