"Tutti" is a musical term which directs a group of voices or instruments to play together. The Tutti Concert Series draws inspiration from this spirit of unity and aims to uplift young local musicians while giving back to the town's public library.
Tutti was launched in the summer of 2023 by the founding organizer Yoonsa Lee, to raise funds for the Jones Library's Capital Campaign. The library, located in Amherst, MA, is in need of a renovation. Each Tutti concert aims to further the accessibility of performance opportunities to the young musicians and collect donations to support the library.
The new Tutti Concert organizers, Erin Ko, and Elisa Shinn are continuing the legacy of Yoonsa's Tutti project to support the Jones Library's Capital Campaign. They are excited to bring the community and young musicians together through music while raising awareness for public libraries. They would like Tutti to be an opportunity for any level musicians to have a time to play and perform.
