Tutor`s Terms & Conditions

1. The teacher will have to register himself/herself by providing his/her information including general, contact, educational and professional information by filling in the prescribed fields of the form provided in the tutor section of the website and also in the final registration form. Tutors are bound to show proof or disclose their qualification details to the reasonable satisfaction of us, the student or the parent party before entering into a tuition engagement and also if and as requested by them, later.

2. If you have applied for tutoring, your application will need to be accepted and approved by the House of Tutors, before you can be confirmed as a House of Tutor’s Active Tutor.

3. It is mandatory for the tutor to visit office before first demo and tutor also have to visit office at least once in a month for general feedback/update. 

4. Payment will be made by House of tutors within 7 days of the successful completion of each month.

5. To check the authenticity of the information provided by the teacher, House of Tutors has a right to use the prescribed and legal means including a physical check of documentation of education of the teacher.

5.1 If a teacher provides any information that is untrue, inaccurate, not current or incomplete, House of Tutors has the right to discontinue the Services to the teacher at its sole discretion.

6. The Tutor agrees to provide home tuition to the Student to the best of their ability, using reasonable care and skill and for the duration specified in the agreement.

7. The Tutor will provide tuition, following the student's requirements and as agreed between the parties and will provide feedback to the Student/Parent on their progress and areas for improvement.

8. The Tutor agrees to keep all confidential information disclosed by the Student/House of tutors, except where disclosure is required by law.

9. Tutor is expected to conduct himself/herself in a teacher/coach-like manner and will maintain a professional and respectful relationship with the Student and their family which is generally prevalent and acceptable in a teacher and student-like relationship.

10. The Tutor will maintain accurate records of tuition sessions, including the dates and times of sessions, the topics covered, and the progress made by the Student.

11. If the Tutor is unable to attend a class, the Tutor will notify the Student as soon as possible and make reasonable efforts to reschedule the class.

12. House of Tutors will not use any teaching Content provided by you for any commercial purpose or otherwise without seeking explicit permission from you as and when required.

13. You may not make any content item originating from House of Tutors available for public access by any means whatsoever without obtaining prior written permission from House of Tutors. If found guilty, legal actions shall be taken.

14.No user shall be permitted to perform any of the following prohibited activities while availing our Services:

14.1. Making available any content that is misleading, unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, tortuous, defamatory, libelous, vulgar, obscene, child-pornographic, lewd, lascivious, profane, invasive of another’s privacy, hateful, or racially, ethnically or otherwise objectionable;

14.2. Stalking, intimidating and/or harassing another and/or inciting another to commit violence.

14.3.Transmitting material that encourages anyone to commit a criminal offence, that results in civil liability or otherwise breaches any relevant laws, regulations or code of practice;

14.4.Interfering with any other person’s use or enjoyment of the application/website/services

15. The Tutor will not be liable for any loss or damage suffered by the Student or any third party as a result of the Tutor's performance of the services, except where such loss or damage is caused by the Tutor's negligence or wilful misconduct.

16.1 House of Tutors has reserved the right to change this policy at any time, at its sole discretion. We may update this privacy policy to bring changes to our information practices. We admire you for periodically reviewing.

16.2 House of Tutors at its right to may edit, delete or block access to any Content including T&C, attendance method etc., without notice and liability. We will try to inform you of the changes.

17. No one is allowed to enter a student's house with you in any condition, not even your family members, not even with the allowance of parents as it’s a matter of the student`s privacy and safety.

18. You have to follow a daily attendance method provided by House of Tutors to maintain transparency and accurate calculation of working days/hours. 

19. A fixed amount of Rs.200 will be deducted from your every month fees as a security deposit against these terms & conditions, which will be repaid back to you along with your undisputed last working month fees.

20. This Agreement will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Indore jurisdiction. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with this Agreement will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Indore jurisdiction.

House of Tutors acknowledges the importance of sustaining your privacy. We are assured to maintain the confidentiality, integrity, and security of all information of our Tutors. 

Tutor's Terms & Conditions and Attendance method ( https://sites.google.com/view/attendance-method/home ):-

*Along with the terms and conditions that you have read/signed, these are some basic points to follow, to maintain transparency.

1. A Tutor warrants that he/she is, at least, eighteen years of age, and has the lawfully necessary educational qualifications and/or experience to provide tuition.

2. In response to the feedback of Students, a Tutor shall not, in any way, show disrespect towards a Student or his/her family.

3. You have to provide a 2 days free demo to parents/students from your side.

4. You must reach the student's house on time, and be punctual. Follow every protocol for Covid/Cold/fever wherever required and maintain the required distance while teaching the student.

5. Attendance must be sent to the WhatsApp group by the tutor daily, without fail. (Attendance method can be found in the WhatsApp group OR Click here - https://sites.google.com/view/attendance-method/home for attendance method)

6. If the teacher absents himself from the tuition then he has the responsibility to cover the entire course/classes with additional time.

7. If a Tutor is getting late or wants a leave someday, he/she must inform this in the WhatsApp group/call any time but at least 20-30 minutes before their regular time, otherwise it will be inconvenient for the students.

8. If the tutor has taken leave (other than Sundays and special occasions of any month) due to any emergency, ill health or urgent work, then he/she has to cover that leave on any other day of the same month to complete the required working days.

9. At House of Tutors, weekly off is given only on Sunday. If there is an occurrence of any other holiday whatsoever, it will be informed in the WhatsApp group by the admins. To receive the agreed monthly fees, it will be mandatory for the tutors to complete the working days.

10. Long leaves will be considered only in case of emergency. So taking leaves for invalid reasons will not be entertained.

11. For the holidays taken by parents: If in any case, the holidays taken by the parents are for continuous 3 days or more, then the tutor has to cover the course and days, otherwise random parent`s leave is not considerable.

12. Your monthly fees will remain the same till the end of the academic year (amount decided while starting). No changes in fees will be entertained before year end (neither decrease nor increase).

13. If there is a perfectly genuine reason for the discontinuation of the coaching then the tutor will have to inform at least 1 month in advance for the settlement of the whole amount.

14. There will be some extra incentives provided to the tutor if the student comes up in the top 3 students (in terms of %) of the class in school. Even if the student already comes within the top 3 of the class, the incentives will be provided. (only after the declaration of exam results - Half yearly and Annual exams). The incentives will be variable.

15. Try to ignore food and beverages at the student's house. Consume it at your own risk and responsibility.

16. Taking students' personal information as well as providing your personal information to the student is strictly not allowed.

17. Personal conversation with parents/students, attending their functions, and invitations is not a matter of concern for House of Tutors, do it on your own responsibility.

18. House of Tutors does not encourage any kind of physical punishment of the student. So, please avoid doing it.

19. In any fraudulent case or misbehaving with a student or parents, strict police actions will be taken against you.

20. Please avoid taking calls, and using mobile phones while teaching except for student`s teaching material and attendance messages.

*IMPORTANT* - If any lead/parent is provided to you by House of Tutors, you are not allowed to do a direct deal with them, also you have to maintain data privacy, If breached, legal action can be taken against you and also this agreement will end at the same time for all the provided tuition with deductions in your pending payout.
