Advanced Nanomaterials & thin films of multi-functional complex transition metal oxides for technological applications in the fields such as Visible light photo-catalysis, Transparent Conducting Coatings (TCC), Advanced gas sensors, Diluted Magnetic Semiconductors, and Solar Cells.


Very well versed with research techniques such as XRD, XPS, TEM, SEM, AFM, UV-VIS-IR and Raman spectroscopy, FTIR, VSM, SQUID.


Expert in synthesis techniques such as sol-gel, hydrothermal, solid state synthesis, Fuel Combustion, co-precipitaion, pulsed laser deposition, thermal evaporation, spray pyrolysis, dip & spin coating, doctor's blade's films, surfactant capping.


Materials Systems: Oxide Nano-systems and thin films especially Pure or doped anisotropic & composite nanosystems of TiO2, ZnO, CuAlO2.
