Kind Stitches is a collaboration between Ben’s Bells and Tucson Unified School District’s Community Transition Programs.

Thanks to support from AZ Vocational Rehabilitation and the Transition from School to Work model, young adult students with disabilities receive valuable job skills training while supporting Ben’s Bells and sharing the “be kind” message with our community – that’s win, win, win! TUSD students collect high quality recycled clothing and embroider the Ben’s Bells “be kind” flower on clothing and tote bags. Revenue from sales supports kindness education programming.

Kind Stitches is operated by students in TUSD’s Community Transition Programs. Kind Stitches provides student with the opportunity to learn valuable career skills in the retail and apparel design industry while reinforcing the “be kind” message. Products produced by Kind Stitches provide a sustainable revenue stream that supports Ben’s Bells mission of providing educational programming throughout the community.
