OUR MISSION
Tune in Together is dedicated to sharing the beauty and joy of harp solo and ensemble music to the community. Our goal is to connect harpists, musicians, and audiences through our music. We are passionate about fostering and inspiring new harpists by providing opportunities to perform and increasing exposure to harp music.
FOUNDING STORY
Tune in Together is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 2023 by 2 young harpists, Sihan Wu and Lyla Lin. While in the Pre-College Harp Program at IU Jacobs School of Music, they devoted hours in mastering their repertoire, receiving applause and praise during program concerts. However, they realized their harp performances were only enjoyed by close family and friends, while the rest of the community was unable to be a part of the experience.
Because of this, Sihan and Lyla were inspired to share the harp's unique sound and their knowledge of the instrument with their community. Their vision grew into a mission: to bring both harp music and education into public spaces and venues, such as at churches, libraries, nursing homes, and other similar community events. As they received more community support, Tune in Together developed into an organization dedicated to inspiring new harpists and enriching the community with music.
