The picture on the right shows a simple gear train (left most) and a compound gear train (rightmost). The drivers are indicated with a wheel attached to the opposite ends.
Evaluation: Throughout this project of building, documenting, calculating, collaborating, etc. my partner and I were able to work efficiently and get both gears done before the deadline. We ran into a issue about the driver in which we solved by simply not building anything new but using another wheel on the end of the axle. This solved our problem and allowed for us to be quick with our calculations and finish before most classmates. Due to the shortage of shaft collars we were mainly in a rush to get the project done so that others can use the shaft collars after us and we succeeded in that. Because the purpose is also to use less part but still make a valuable working gear train, we did not incorporate any spacers. The gears function completely fine without it. Overall, my partner Aryan and I worked time efficiently and cooperated with one another for this project.
