Tugboat Beach Curaçao BlueWave Corporate Charity Auction 2026
1. Event Concept
Tugboat Beach Curaçao will organize a 7-day bluewave charity auction in honor of Curaçao’s historic qualification for the 2026 World Cup and the pride surrounding the BlueWave movement.
The auction will feature exclusive, hand-painted BlueWave-style souvenirs created by FrankArt, the local in-house artist of Tugboat Beach Curaçao. Each piece is specially designed to celebrate Curaçao’s football achievement, island pride, local art, and cultural identity.
This auction is created for all local businesses. The goal is to give businesses the opportunity to support Curaçao’s history, culture, and community while acquiring a unique collectible artwork.
100% of the proceeds will be donated to THE CURAÇAO MUSEUM to support its restoration.
Curaçao made history on the world stage. The BlueWave gave Curaçao a place in world football history. This auction gives companies the chance to give something back to Curaçao’s cultural history.
2. Auction Duration and Schedule
The auction will run for 7 consecutive days.
Start Date: Sunday, June 7th 2026
Start Time: 12:00 PM
Daily Closing Time: 12:00 PM the following day
Bidding Period: 24 hours per auction day
Each day will feature 3 exclusive hand-painted souvenirs in the same BlueWave design style. These will be marked as:
1/3 — Original
2/3 — Hand-painted edition piece
3/3 — Hand-painted edition piece
Each winning item will include a Certificate of Authenticity.

A proud local design with playful Papiamentu energy, island humor, and strong Curaçao pride.

Theme: History in the Making
A design focused on Curaçao’s first World Cup moment and the historical importance of this achievement.
Day 4 - Wednesday, June 10th, 2026
Souvenir: Fish
Theme: Bluewave Dreams Rise
A meaningful design connecting the iconic Tugboat Beach wreck with Curaçao’s global football moment
Day 5 - Thursday, 11th June 2026
Souvenir: Butterfly
Theme: Mama Wak Bluewave History
A collector’s design featuring 2026, Curaçao, and celebratory BlueWave elements.
Day 6 - Friday, June 12th, 2026
Souvenir: Turtle
Theme: Proud to be part of Bluewave
A fun, tourist-friendly design combining beach life, football energy, island colors, and celebration.
Day 7 - Saturday, June 13th, 2026
Souvenir: Surfboard
Theme: BlueWave Pride
A design inspired by ocean waves, football shapes, Curaçao flag colors, and national pride.
4. Auction Format
Each daily auction includes 3 hand-painted souvenirs of the same design.
The winners will be determined as follows:
Highest bid: wins item 1/3
Second-highest bid: wins item 2/3
Third-highest bid: wins item 3/3
Each item is handmade. Small differences in color, brushwork, texture, and finish are part of the originality and artistic value of the artwork.
5. How Companies Can Participate
Participation is by registration.

Companies that confirm their participation will be added to a dedicated WhatsApp auction group and will be provided with an auction bid number, where official bids can be placed during each 24-hour auction period.
Only companies that have been confirmed and added to the official WhatsApp group may place valid bids.
6. What Companies Receive
Participating companies receive more than the chance to win an artwork. They receive visibility, recognition, and a role in preserving Curaçao’s cultural legacy.

Certificate of Authenticity
Every winning company receives a certificate for the artwork won.
Handover photo
Winning companies can receive a photo with Tugboat Beach Curaçao, FrankArt, and the artwork.
Mention in the final auction recap
Winning bidders and supporters may be mentioned in the final campaign summary.
Press and media recognition
Winning companies may be included in press communication and public updates.
Grand Prize
The company with the highest bid each auction day wins a free “Be the Artist” workshop for 8 people to create their own artwork on driftwood at Tugboat Beach Curaçao.
The 2nd place daily auction winners will receive a free clear-bottom kayak tour for 8 people.
The 3rd place daily auction winners will receive a 50% discount on the “Be the Artist” workshop for 8 people.
The company with the highest overall bid during the 7-day auction will be invited to attend the official handover of the auction proceeds to The Curaçao Museum.
7. Standard Auction Rules
1. Auction Organizer
This auction is organized by Tugboat Beach Curaçao.
2. Auction Items
The auction features unique hand-painted souvenirs and artworks in the exclusive BlueWave style created by FrankArt, the in-house artist of Tugboat Beach Curaçao.
Each item is handmade and may have small differences in color, texture, brushwork, and finish. These differences are part of the originality and artistic value of the piece.
A Certificate of Authenticity will be provided for each winning item and will be marked 1/3, 2/3, or 3/3.
3. Auction Format
Each auction runs for 24 hours.
The first auction starts on Sunday, June 7th, 2026, at 12:00 PM and ends on Monday, June 8th, 2026, at 12:00 PM.
Each new auction starts daily at 12:00 PM and closes the following day at 12:00 PM.
All bids after 12:00 PM will not be accepted.
4. Starting Bid
Each auction item will have a starting bid of $89. Bids below the starting price will not be accepted.
5. Bid Increments
Bids must increase by the minimum amount set by the organizer.
Example: minimum increase of $10 or more per bid.
6. How to Place a Bid
Bids must be placed in the official WhatsApp auction group with your auction bid number.
For privacy reasons we have excluded company names and assigned each business an auction bid number.
(For example: Auction Bid number 3 / Bid $99)
Only bids placed through the official method will be accepted.
7. Valid Bids
A valid bid must include:
Auction Bid number
Bid amount in USD for the auctioned item that day
If your company leaves the WhatsApp auction group and later wishes to participate again, you will need to register again and will receive a new auction bid number.
To protect your privacy, we recommend that you do not use a profile photo or personal/company name on your WhatsApp profile or adjust your WhatsApp privacy settings accordingly.
Incomplete, unclear, edited, deleted, or suspicious bids may be rejected by the organizer.
8. Auction Closing Time
Each auction closes at the exact time stated in the official announcement.
Bids received after closing time will not be accepted.
The highest valid bid at the official closing time wins item 1/3.
The second-highest valid bid wins item 2/3.
The third-highest valid bid wins item 3/3.
10. Winner Announcement
Winners will be announced after the auction has closed and all bids have been reviewed.
The organizer will contact each winner directly to arrange payment, pickup or delivery.
11. Payment
The winning bidder must complete payment upon pickup or delivery.
12. Accepted Payment Methods
Accepted payment methods may include:
Cash
Bank transfer
Card payment
13. Pickup or Delivery
The winning bidder is responsible for collecting the item at the agreed location unless delivery has been arranged.
14. No Returns or Exchanges
All auction sales are final.
Because the items are hand-painted and unique, no returns, refunds, or exchanges are accepted after payment has been completed.
15. Item Condition
All items are sold as shown and described.
Photos will be provided to show the item as accurately as possible. Slight color differences may occur due to lighting, camera settings, or screen display.
16. Charity Proceeds
100% of the proceeds will be donated to THE CURAÇAO MUSEUM to support its restoration.
17. Right to Refuse Bids
Tugboat Beach Curaçao reserves the right to reject any bid that appears false, incomplete, suspicious, offensive, or not in line with the spirit of the auction.
19. Changes to the Auction
The organizer reserves the right to adjust the auction, if necessary, due to technical issues, or unforeseen circumstances.
20. Agreement to the Rules
By placing a bid, participants confirm that they have read, understood, and agreed to these auction rules.
8. Trust and Transparency Text
Transparency Promise
All proceeds from the BlueWave Charity Auction will go to charity in support of THE CURAÇAO MUSEUM restoration.
After the 7-day auction, Tugboat Beach Curaçao will share the total amount raised and publicly thank all winning bidders and supporters.
