On fateful night, I got my violin! In around the beginning of March, I have suddenly had this strong desire to play the violin so that I can play for God in Church, praise Him with it. I told my mom about it and she surprisingly fulfilled my wished and let me have a violin, not long after on March 15, 2024. (Which is actually a day before my younger sister's birthday, ironically) And A the expensive violin was quite expensive too. Hence why after we purchased my violin, she was nagging about how expensive the violin was. But recently, my violin teacher complemented my violin for not going out of tune as often as some other violins (that is, the cheaper ones, of course). Oh, and I started having my violin lessons at Noan Music School near my house on... March 25 if I'm not wrong (after school, 15:30 PM).
Now, why have I decided to learn to play the violin when I already have a (piano) keyboard at home? I don't know. Probably because I already have pianists in my family, (especially my oldest maternal cousin who is an absolute veteran at playing the piano) but not violinists.
Of course I'm still a novice at playing the violin. Though I am improving little by little with practice.
Other than playing the violin, I also love studying the Word of God, specifically Christian Apologia (Apologetics). Here is a website I made dedicated to it
I also love drawing, but right now I don't have any photos of my artwork-
As far as I can remember, I've made Biblically inspired artworks such as: a Nativity Painting at Christmas, a drawing of a room of prayer in a Monastery for my art assignment, a painting of the Holy Spirit descending as a dove for my art assignment, a Pointillism art of the cross on a green grassy field surrounded by yellow and red sunflowers (because I ran out of yellow ink) for my art assignment, and I'm currently working on a painting of the Baptism of Jesus in the River of Jordan for my art assignment.
I've also made sketches of the winged creatures inspired by the winged creatures/angels described in the Bible (Isaiah 6, Ezekiel 10)
Update: New Hobby! Photography. I love taking pictures now, especially plants and buildings. I think the contrast of the two complements each other really well. Here are some of the photos I took during the Photography MPP.
These are the final versions of it. These photos have no filter at all.
I also like to make poems of thanksgiving, praise, worship, exaltation, and adoration to God like the one above this text box for example, for tugas B INDO puisi di kelas 8. Or even make poems of pleas to God.
