• April 2025. Received the SUTD Long Service Award (5 years)

• June 2024. Promoted to be a Senior Member of the IEEE, the IEEE Information Theory Society, and the IEEE Young Professionals.

• Jan 2020. Received the 1st Runner-up Poster Award in the SUTD Research Fest 2020, with a research project titled "Design of Constrained Codes with Error-Correction for DNA Data Storage"

• Aug 2014. Received the NTU PhD Research Scholarship 

• July 2013. Received the bronze Medal in the IMC 2013- International Mathematics Competition for University Students, organized by University College London and hosted by the American University in Bulgaria 

• April 2013. Was the winner of Euler’s Mathematics Competition, organized by Nanyang Technological University, Singapore

• April 2013. Awarded the “mathematical magician" for conducting a lecture on "Uncertainty Principle in Discrete Fourier Analysis", given by the Head of Division, School of Physical and Mathematical Sciences (SPMS), NTU.

• May 2012. Received the NTU President Research Scholar Award in URECA - Undergraduate Research Experience on Campus Programme 2011/2012, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. 

• April 2010. Received the first prize in "Algebra" and the second prize in "Analysis" in the National Mathematics Olympiad for university students, Hue, Vietnam.

• April 2008. Qualified for the final round -Team Selection Test (TST) - of selection for the Vietnam team to the International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO 2008). Exempted from the Vietnamese National High School Graduation Examination (2008) and awarded Graduation with Highest Distinction.

• Jan 2008. Second Prize, High School Mathematics Competition, Hai Duong province, Vietnam.

• April 2007. Received the Vallet Scholarship for high school excellent students, given by Rencontres Du Vietnam  Foundation, Hanoi, Vietnam. 

• June 2006. Received the silver medal in the SMO 2005 - Singapore Mathematical Olympiad, organized by the Singapore Mathematical Society, Singapore.
