Scheduled for October to November 2025, three validation workshops are planned to review and provide feedback on the draft of the National Biodiversity Strategy and Action Plan (NBSAP) 2025:

The sessions aim to support the development of a nationally validated, evidence-based, and inclusive strategy aligned with the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework, while promoting stronger integration of biodiversity into national development priorities.

From mid-May to mid-June 2025, a public survey was conducted to gather input from citizens and stakeholders across Trinidad and Tobago on the revision of the National Biodiversity Strategy and Action Plan (NBSAP) 2025. A total of 1,730 responses were received, providing a robust snapshot of public perspectives on biodiversity priorities and environmental challenges.
