Planned Validation Workshops – NBSAP 2025 Revision 📝🌱

Scheduled for October to November 2025, three validation workshops are planned to review and provide feedback on the draft of the National Biodiversity Strategy and Action Plan (NBSAP) 2025:

Online workshop

These workshops aim to ensure the strategy is nationally validated, evidence-based, and inclusive, while promoting stronger integration of biodiversity into national development priorities and alignment with the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework.

Targeted Focus Group Consultations In Tobago – NBSAP 2025 Revision 🎯📑

Scheduled for October 2025 in Tobago, these in-person Focus Group Consultations will engage targeted stakeholders from key sectors to provide critical input for the revision of Trinidad and Tobago’s National Biodiversity Strategy and Action Plan (NBSAP) 2025. The sessions aim to support the development of a nationally validated, evidence-based, and inclusive strategy aligned with the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework, while promoting stronger integration of biodiversity into national development priorities.

Public Survey – NBSAP 2025 Revision 📋🌱

From mid-May to mid-June 2025, a public survey was conducted to gather input from citizens and stakeholders across Trinidad and Tobago on the revision of the National Biodiversity Strategy and Action Plan (NBSAP) 2025. A total of 1,730 responses were received, providing a robust snapshot of public perspectives on biodiversity priorities and environmental challenges.
