→3:00-6:15pm.............Check in at the Doubletree Hotel (502 W Cesar E. Chavez Blvd., San Antonio, TX 78207)

dinner→6:30pm...........Directors and students arrive to the Salon De Gala Ballroom for check in with Jim Stubbs

→6:45-7:00pm............General meeting of directors & students in the Salon De Gala Ballroom with the Choral Coordinator, Mark Watt

→7:00-8:00pm............Sectional Rehearsals

Altos............Alameda Room

Tenor...........Arneson Room

Bass.............Aztec B Room

→8:10-9:30pm.............Rehearsal #1 – Salon De Gala Ballroom

THURSDAY, February 8, 2024

→8:00-9:00am.............TTCCDA Executive Board Meeting and breakfast in the Guadalupe Room

→9:00-10:30am...........Rehearsal #2 – Salon De Gala Ballroom

→10:30-10:50am.........Break for Choir

→10:50am-12:30pm....Rehearsal #3 – Salon De Gala Ballroom

→12:30-1:30pm...........Student Lunch – Hotel Restaurant

→12:30-2:00pm...........TTCCDA Director’s meeting and luncheon in Aztec A Room

→1:30-7:45pm.............Students visit exhibits and workshops at the Convention Center and get dinner on their own

→8:00-9:00pm............. Attend UTA Concert at the Convention Center

FRIDAY, February 9, 2024

→8:00-9:30am.............TTCCDA Director’s Breakfast and Meeting in Aztec A Room

→8:30-8:45am.............Clinician’s Address to Directors

→9:00-10:40am...........Rehearsal #4 – Salon De Gala Ballroom

→10:40-10:50am.........Break for Choir

→10:50am-12:30pm....Rehearsal #5 – Salon De Gala Ballroom

→12:30-1:45pm...........Student Lunch – Hotel Restaurant

→2:00-4:00pm..............Rehearsal #6 – Salon De Gala Ballroom

→4:00-9:00pm..............Students visit exhibits, workshops, dinner, College Night at the Convention Center

5:00-8:00pm..................College Night at the Convention Center

SATURDAY, February 10, 2024

→9:00-10:30am............If leaving after the concert, check out of hotel on Saturday morning

→10:30am-12:30pm.....Rehearsal #7 – Salon De Gala Ballroom

→12:30-6:15pm...........Directors and students attend convention, arrange plans for arriving at the Convention Center for call time

→6:15pm ....................CALL TIME at the Stars at Night Ballroom in the Convention Center

Students must arrive dressed in concert attire, with their music, and ready to perform

BE AWARE: THERE MAY BE LITTLE OR NO REHEARSAL TIME IN THE BALLROOM

→6:15pm ..................Setup for the concert by the Logistics Committee

→7:00pm ..................CONCERT in the Stars at Night Ballroom in the Convention Center

Concert Attire:

Singers wearing dresses...........Black dress at least knee length; if dress is not floor length, wear black hose

Singers wearing tuxedos...........Black tuxedo or black suit with white shirt and black bowtie

Singers not wearing either .......Black blouse and black dress slacks

All singers...............................Black dress shoes/flats; no heals over 1”

Music.....................................Black folder (plain, no markings or logos) and pencils for all rehearsals and performance
