主たる研究領域は生物統計学です。具体的にいうと、化合物の有効性・安全性を検証・探索するための臨床試験を計画すること、得られたデータから適切な結論を得るための解析を行うこと、結果を整理し誤りなく報告をすること、すでに得られている医学的根拠を評価することなど、様々な過程で生じる統計学的問題を解決することです。また、小標本問題、経時測定データや欠測データに対処するための新しい統計手法の開発や、統計手法の使い分けなどを研究課題にしています。

Primary research field is biostatistics for medical studies. In particular, I am trying to solve statistical issues arising in the process of the design, conduct, analysis, and evaluation of clinical trials of an investigational product. I am also developing novel statistical methods for analyzing longitudinal data, missing data, and small clinical trials.

主な研究領域は生物統計学です。臨床研究においては、デザイン、実施、データ解析のすべての過程において統計的思考・実践が必要であり、これらの過程における効率の上昇を狙った臨床試験デザイン・統計解析手法の開発を行っています。具体的には、医学データの解析における統計的変換モデルの開発及び応用や、パラメトリックな統計モデルのモデル誤特定下における推測問題を取り扱っています。

My main research field is statistics in clinical researches. Main thema is statistical analyses based on transformation models and evaluation for effect of parametric model misspecifications.

私の研究領域は生物統計学です。私の関心はモデルに基づく統計的推測です。これは、統計解析において、解釈の容易な結果を与えますが、様々な仮定を必要とする制限があります。私は、このような仮定に対して頑健な手法の考察と新規の提案を進めたいと考えています。

My research field is biostatistics. My methodological research interests are in the areas of survival analysis and robust analysis. I am developing a new robust statistical method for the analysis of data with small-sample sizes in the framework of survival analysis.

主な研究領域は生物統計学・疫学です。麻酔科医としてのバックグラウンドを活かし、周術期（手術およびその前後）領域の大規模観察研究やシステマティックレビュー・メタアナリシスを行っております。また、筑波大学附属病院の周術期データセットを管理し、医療の質向上のための研究に活用しています。

My main research fields are biostatistics and epidemiology. Leveraging my expertise as an anesthesiologist, I conduct large-scale observational studies and systematic reviews and meta-analyses in the perioperative (pre- to post-operative period) field. I also manage the University of Tsukuba Hospital Perioperative Dataset and use it for research to improve the quality of medical care.
