Sri. Thillasthanam Swamy Kainkarya Sabha celebrated the 150th Thirunakshatram ( Mrugusheera Nakshatram ) of HH Sri. Swamy on November 21st , 2021
at Sri. Prasanna Krishnaswamy Temple , Tulasithottam , Bangalore .
Celebrations were also held at Swamy’s Brindavanam at Srirangam on the same day .

150th Thirunakshatram Celebrations of Sri Thillasthanam Swamy
Appeal for Funds by TSK Sabha Bangalore
Sri Satagopa Ramanuja Yateendra Mahadesikan, popularly known as Sri Thillasthanam Swamy was born on 28th November 1871 and attained paramapadam in the year 1956 at Srirangam. From his early days he was associated with Sri Ahobila Mutt and rendered yeomen service in promoting its tradition and culture. He toured extensively across villages in Karnataka, performing Panchasamskaram, rendering Upanyasams, Kalakshepams and hence had large numbers of devotees. He used to stay at Sri Prasanna Krishnaswamy Temple Tulasithotam, Bangalore for long periods, during which time, he consecrated the idol of Sri Adivan Satagopa Mahadesikan and laid down the guidelines for conducting nithya pooja at this temple.
Sri Thillasthanam Swamy Kainkarya Sabha (TSK Sabha) was formed in 1957 with objective of celebrating Swamy’s Thirunakshatram and Aradhanam every year at Sri Prasanna Krishnaswamy Temple, Tulasithotam. Till date both the functions are being celebrated without fail with the support of patrons and devotees , members of the sabha and Temple Management.
The year 2021 marks the 150th Thirunakshatram which is on November 21st . Being the 150th year sabha has been celebrating the Masa Thirunakshatram every month this year and in culmination it is proposed to celebrate Swamy’s 150th Thirunakshatram in a befitting manner with Nalayira Divyaprabandha Sevai, Veda Parayanams, daily Utsavam, Padukaa Puja, etc over a period of 10 days. It is also proposed to bring out a Souvenir and memento to mark this special occasion. Since the funds at the command of the sabha will not be able to cover all the expenses which are expected to be quite high , the Sabha appeals to all patrons , devotees , shishyas, members and other well wishers to contribute generously to make the function a grand success.
