UCASA'S Annual Culture Show

I have been involved in leading and organizing the 2023 ,2024 and 2025 Culture shows at UC which I am so passionate about! I lead the choreography and helped hosting the show. I have always been involved in culture shows to represent my culture through dance in high school and I think I've done a pretty good job running the shows. I love every aspect of my country's diversity when it come's to music, the dance styles, and languages that are used to all show off our ways of celebrating life.

Bearcat Buddies

Currently I volunteer at Hughes High School where I am involved in tutoring students that range from grades 6-12. I help the students with homework questions or any studying help they need. Explaining concepts that are difficult to them in a more understandable way and seeing them comprehend their school work is something I really enjoy. I communicate with the students so they feel like they have a safe space to ask any questions they might have. I plan on continuing attending Bearcat Buddies through the remainder of my time here at UC.

Student Wellness Center

Starting in August of 2024, I became a certified peer educator through UC's Student Wellness Center. With this certification, I am able to facilitate and be part of amazing events that are sponsored through the Wellness Center such as cookie decorating, Sober Tailgaits, and other events that promote student health and wellness! In the photos displayed to the left, I organized a cookie decorating event at the Student Wellness Center during the first week of school. This event allowed students to engage in an activity where they were doing something where they were using their creativity to make something they liked.
