About Me

My name is Tsion Begashaw and I grew up in the city of sunny San Diego, California. I'm currently a third year student at the University of Cincinnati with many different goals and aspirations. As my passion for health equity and improvement of healthcare policy grew, I found myself becoming more and more eager to be involved in activities on campus that aligned with my future goal of becoming a health educator.  

I currently am involved in 4 honors programs and am president of Eta Sigma Gamma's Gamma Eta Chapter, as well as their national student member-at-large. All of the positions that I hold at the University of Cincinnati are not only stepping stones in leadership for me, but also pathways that align with my future goals of impacting and improving public health.
