Mr. Nitin Kumar Bansal, did his B. Tech. in Mechanical Engineering from Govt Engineering college, Bikaner (Rajasthan) in 2018 and M. Tech. in Thermal and fluid engineering from IIT, BHU (Varanasi) in 2021. His M. Tech. project was on the Study of self-pressurization and Numerical modelling of Cryogun.
He received Prime Minister's Research Fellowship (PMRF-2022) for his doctoral research.
As a research scholar in Energy Science and Engineering he aims to study the thermal analysis of next generation thin films solar cells
Ms. Paulomi Singh, completed her B. Tech. in Nanotechnology from Lovely Professional University, Phagwara, Punjab in 2017 then she did her M.Tech. from IIT BHU in Materials Science and Technology. She worked on Anti-bacterial mask fabrication from polymer-based nanocomposite for her Master thesis.
Paulomi received Prime Minister's Research Fellowship (PMRF-2022) for her doctoral research.
As a PhD candidate in School of Interdisciplinary Research, she aims to develop the new absorber material for next generation solar cells.
Mr. Deepak Yadav did his B.Tech in Production & Industrial Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Kurukshetra (NIT-KURUKSHETRA) in 2017 and his M.Tech in Green Technology from Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology (MANIT-BHOPAL) in 2021. His M.Tech project was on Solar Energy Harvesting by Carbon Nanotube Optical Rectenna.
He is a working professional, currently working at the Photovoltaic Testing Facility of the National Institute of Solar Energy, Gurugram.
As a Research Scholar in Department of Energy Science and Engineering at IIT Delhi, he aims to work on the stability of the Perovskite-Silicon Tandem Solar Cell.
Mr. Sidhanta Gupta, completed his B.Sc. in Chemistry from Banaras Hindu University , Varanasi. Following that, he obtained his M.Sc. in Chemistry from the National Institute of Technology Sikkim, Ravangla. During his M.Sc., he worked on the synthesis and characterization of a Nickel(II) complex (N,S,O) based on an imine ligand containing a 2-aminothiophenol moiety. Next, during his M.Tech in Polymer Science and Technology at the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, he focused his project on the development of lead halide perovskites for solar cell applications.
As a Ph.D. candidate in Department of Energy Science and Engineering at IIT Delhi, he aims to develop perovskite solar cells with enhanced efficiency and stability for both outdoor (large area) and indoor applications.

Mr. Animesh Anand completed his bachelor (in Physics) from Banaras Hindu University and Masters (in Physics) from NIT Trichy, he worked on Facile Preparation and Characterisation of 2D MXene for her Master thesis.
As a research scholar he aims to work on Flexible Perovskite Solar Cell for space applications in Department of Energy Science and Engineering.

Ms. Ankita Sao completed her Bachelor's in Renewable Energy from Pt. Ravishankar Shukla University, Raipur, in 2019. She then pursued her Master of Science in Renewable Energy from the University of Lucknow, graduating in 2021. Following her Master's degree, she joined NIT Raipur for her Master of Technology in Energy and Environment. She has worked on recycling of crystalline solar photovoltaic modules and the adsorptive removal of malachite green.
As a Research Scholar in the Department of Energy Science and Engineering, she aims to work towards the fabricating and characterizing perovskite tandem solar cells.

Ms. Binita Boro completed her B.Tech in Instrumentation Engineering from Central Institute of Technology, Kokrajhar, Assam and M.Tech in Advanced Material Science and Technology from National Institute of Technology, Durgapur, West Bengal. During her M. Tech she worked on " Enhancement of efficiency of Si solar cell using Siox/TiO2 heterostructure nanowires based on antireflective coating".
She is pursuing Ph.D work on the understanding of various interfaces of perovskite based solar cell and its impact on the device efficiency and stability.

Ms. Mrittika Paul completed her Bachelor’s degree in Physics from Vidyasagar University in 2017 and master’s degree in Physics with special paper Electronics from Vidyasagar University in 2019. She received INSPIRE scholarship from 2014 to 2019. In her M.Sc project (from Dept.of Physics, IIT Kharagpur) she worked on Organic Semiconducting materials that are used in applications of flexible electronics.
As a PhD candidate in the School of Energy science and Engineering, she aims to work on All Inorganic Perovskite Solar cells.

Mr. Himanshu Dixit, completed his B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering from SKIT, Jaipur. Following that, he completed M.Tech. in Nanotechnology from Rajasthan Technical University, Kota. During M.Tech., he worked on simulation, optimization and characterization of perovskites for photovoltaic applications.
As a Ph.D. candidate in Energy Science and Engineering he aims to work towards developing double perovskite solar cells with enhanced efficiency and stability.

Mr. Snehangshu Mishra completed his B.E. in Electrical Engineering from Jadavpur University. Following that, he completed M.Tech. in Energy Science and Technology from School of Energy Studies, Jadavpur University. During M.Tech., he worked on fabrication and characterization of ‘Zn’ doped ‘SnS’ thin films using Successive Ionic Layer Adsorption and Reaction (SILAR) method.
As a Ph.D. candidate in Energy Science and Engineering he aims to work towards developing flexible perovskite solar cell.

Mr Emeafu Francis Ebere serves as a Senior Technical Officer at the Federal Ministry of Power Nigeria and is currently pursuing an M.Tech in Renewable Energy Technologies and Management at the Indian Institute of Technology, where his final year project is on "Machine learning-assisted design of perovskite solar cells for indoor light applications" in line with his long-term goals of contributing significantly to the advancement of sustainable energy technologies.
Mr. Jayesh Gandhi completed his B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from Goa College of Engineering in 2021. He is currently pursuing M.Tech in the Department of Energy Science and Engineering at IIT Delhi, where his research focuses on Perovskite-Silicon Tandem Solar Cells. Ms. Mukta Sharma is an MS(R) student in the Department of Energy Science and Engineering at IIT Delhi. She holds a bachelor's degree in Physics from Miranda House, University of Delhi (2020), and a master's degree in Applied Physics from Delhi Technological University (2022). Her research focuses on the degradation study of perovskite solar cells. She has authored multiple research papers in Scopus-indexed conference proceedings and contributed to book chapters. Mukta specializes in simulation and computational modeling, with expertise in COMSOL Multiphysics, MATLAB, and AutoCAD.
Rohit Thakwani is a scientist working in the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, Government of India since 2016. He completed his B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering from National Institute of Technology Silchar (2013). He is currently pursuing M.Tech in the Department of Energy Science and Engineering at IIT Delhi, with fellowship from the International Solar Alliance (ISA). His final year project is on "Analysis of different types of solar photovoltaic technologies in technical and commercial aspects".

Farzana Rikta received her B.Sc. in Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) from Khulna University of Engineering & Technology (KUET), Bangladesh, in March 2019. Following graduation, she joined as a full-time Lecturer in the Department of EEE at Daffodil International University, Bangladesh. In 2020, she began working as an Assistant Engineer at the West Zone Power Distribution Company Limited (WZPDCL), a utility under the government-owned power sector in Bangladesh, where she contributed to various infrastructure and development projects involving substation maintenance, distribution line design, project proposal development, and system design & planning.
In 2024, she was awarded the prestigious International Solar Alliance (ISA) Fellowship and enrolled in the M.Tech. program in Renewable Energy Technologies and Management at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi, under the Department of Energy Science and Engineering (DESE). Her research interests include the fabrication and characterization of next-generation thin films, perovskite materials, and solar cells, as well as CMOS technology scaling for photovoltaic and microelectronic applications.

Mr. Ayush Kumar Singh, completed his Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from I.E.T. LUCKNOW (UP) in 2023.His project title during BTech is "Refrigeration System using Solar Panel and Peltier Plate".He won Bronze medal in Athletics at Zonal level during his college days. Currently doing his master's degree in Energy and Environment Technologies & Management (2024-26) from Department of Energy Science and Engineering at IIT Delhi. .His project title during MTech is "Recycling of Perovskite Solar Cell".
Mr.Richik Datta completed his Bachelor's Degree in Physics from University of Calcutta in 2020 and followed by His master degree in applied physics from Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda in 2022. His project title was Detection of sugar concentration in water media by using tryptophan based fluorescence technique.He is currently pursuing his M.Tech in Energy and Environment Technologies and Management from Department of Energy Science and Engineering at IIT Delhi. His project title will be AI/ML driven studies for perovskite solar cells for indoor applications.
Mr. Harshit Rai is a passionate researcher and technologist committed to advancing renewable energy solutions for a sustainable future. He holds a Master of Science degree in Physics from the University of Lucknow, where he built a strong foundation in fundamental sciences. Driven by a vision to contribute meaningfully to India’s energy transition, he pursued a Master of Technology in Energy Science and Engineering at the Department of Energy Science and Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology Delhi.
Harshit’s academic and research interests lie in the development and manufacturing of next-generation solar cell technologies, with a focus on high-efficiency, low-cost, and scalable solutions. He is particularly motivated by the challenge of innovating in the renewable energy sector to meet India’s growing energy demand through sustainable and technologically advanced methods.
His long-term goal is to bridge the gap between research and large-scale application by contributing to the design, manufacturing, and deployment of renewable energy systems that are both economically viable and environmentally responsible.
Mr. Chaitanya Devashu S S Lodhi is currently pursuing M.Tech in Solid State Material at Indian Institute of Technology Delhi. His M.Tech. final year project is on “Stability Analysis of Perovskite Solar Cell.”

Mr. Navneet Singh is currently pursuing M.Tech in Solid State Materials under the Department of Physics at IIT Delhi. He has joined the Department of Energy Science and Engineering for his major project, where he aims to work on the fabrication and characterization of perovskite solar cells.
He has completed his B.Sc. (Non-Medical) from Khalsa College, Patiala in 2019, followed by an M.Sc. in Physics from Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology in 2021. During his M.Sc., he carried out his thesis work on the “Resolution and Efficiency of NaI(Tl) Scintillation Detector using Eu-152.”
