To transform informal taxi stops that currently have no infrastructure into community-designed public spaces that offer safety, seating, shade, interaction with nature and a gathering place where the community can interact with one another and enjoy the space.

The researcher was privileged to be selected for an international doctoral program at a German university, with funding that enables the researcher to start this project for the benefit of South Africans, their public spaces, national pride and the relationship we have with the natural environment.
