We believe good software should earn its place in people’s lives by being useful, reliable and enjoyable to use — not through lock-in, unnecessary complexity or manipulative design.

Respect the user.

Your time, attention and privacy matter. We design our products to be clear and understandable, without deliberately making simple things difficult.

Make it worth paying for.

If we ask someone to pay for our software, the product should provide genuine value in return. Pricing should be understandable, and continued development should make the product better — not simply create more things to sell.

Privacy should be part of the design.

We believe personal information should stay private whenever possible. We prefer on-device and privacy-conscious solutions when they make sense for the product.

Good design matters.

Software doesn’t only need to work. It should be pleasant to use. Clear interfaces, thoughtful details and visual calm can make everyday tasks simpler and less frustrating.

Keep improving the product.

Shipping an app isn’t the finish line. We listen, learn and continue improving the products we build.

Software should work for people.
