ACS Practice Exams

What is the ACS exam?

The American Chemical Society (ACS) creates the standardized exit exam that all students must take at the end of the semester. Note: not everything in the ACS exam will have been covered in your course. Do not worry about these questions.

How do I prepare for it?

Although the questions are different from exam to exam, the topics remain the same, ie: stoichiometry, balancing chemical equations, periodic trends, etc. So studying all of the major concepts you have learned in your chemistry course will prepare you well for this exam.

Additionally, the ACS publishes the previous local exams which can act as practice.
