Facial Analysis Feature

Our app offers an optional heritage analysis feature that analyzes your photo to estimate potential ethnic ancestry for entertainment purposes.Collection: We collect a single photograph that you voluntarily upload through the app's photo picker or camera interface. No biometric identifiers, facial geometry data, or faceprint templates are collected or created.Use: Your photo is analyzed by AI to estimate ethnic heritage percentages displayed as entertainment content. The analysis is not scientifically validated and is provided solely for amusement.Processing & Transmission: When you use the heritage analysis feature, your photo is securely transmitted via encrypted HTTPS connection to our backend processing service (Supabase Edge Functions), where it is analyzed by AI in real-time.Retention: Zero retention policy. Your photo is processed in-memory and immediately discarded after analysis is complete. The image is never written to persistent storage on our servers. Only the text-based analysis results (ethnicity percentages) may be saved locally on your device.Third-Party Sharing: Your photo is not sold, shared with advertisers, or distributed to any third parties. The photo is transmitted only to our secure processing infrastructure for the sole purpose of generating your analysis results.Security: All photo transmissions use industry-standard TLS/HTTPS encryption.
