Echowind is very clever. She used to think she was loyal to WindClan, but now she's unsure. She is kind and loyal to the cats she cares about, though. She can be very strict. She is stubborn, sarcastic, and rude. She had a cold outer shell that if very hard to break. Because of this she doesn't have many friends. She had trust issues, and PTSD.

At the age of 56 moons, Echowind was told she would mentor Gullpaw. She trained her for a while. When she was 58 moons, she met a handsome tom named Whispertail. She found out he was a WindClan exile. She loved him, and they continued to meet up. On their third meeting, he asked her to be his mate. She said yes, and he then changed his name to Whisperbreeze. Echowind then woke up in the Dark Forest and was attacked by Braveheart, Whisperbreeze's brother. He wanted to ruin Whisperbreeze's life, and thought killing his mate would make him miserable. She managed to wake up alive. She then found out she was pregnant, with Whisperbreeze's kits. Twilightstar found out, and asked if she would stay in WIndClan or go with him. She chose to stay in WindClan. She later gives birth, but Splashkit was dead. The loss of a kit sent her into a fir of grief, and beats herself up over being a bad mother.
