INSTRUCTIONS
WEEK 1
At the first week we do not have any class due to holiday.
WEEK 2
I joined one of the groups called the 'troublemakers'. This week we are expected to get to know each other and start to brainstorm for our project 1. So for our project we are told to come up with game ideas for us to make later. From our group discussion, we got the idea of making an FPS game. How? We are thinking of creating the game using Far Cry 5 sandbox, using the materials and b ase of the game as our game. However, this idea was rejected by Dr Charles due to the amount of work and experience to create the game (a simple game could be a good game). So we restarted from zero, thinking what can we make. Then we came up with games that could be created using Tabletop Simulator which Dr Charles recommended to us which then lead us to think of creating a boardgames. Yin Hui came up with a great idea of creating games that are similar to 'Big 2' obviously with changes. Her idea was to create a game with the topic of who is fastest to Taylor's. This idea was approved by Dr Charles and we started to barinstorm on how to play and designs.
WEEK 4 - PROTOTYPE & 3D PRINTING
Moving on from where we left off, we started with the designs and create the rough game using paper and playing cards. Darren suggested to use 3D prints for the pawns. Then, Darren and I, design the transportation cards and pawns while the others work on the map and action card.

WEEK 5 - playtest
After finishing all the elements needed to play the game (cards, map, designs, 3d print), we start to playtest the game. From the first playtest, there are cards that we think are too many in numbers which lead to disadvantages to some players. To balance it, we remove some of the cards. After removing some cards, we got to play it with Dr Charles in order to get a proper feedback.
His Feedback:
what is the purpose of the game?
if you played it once will you want to play more of it?
how can you differentiate between cards that can be placed and not?
WEEK 6
No class - Need to make appointments with Dr Charles outside of class for feedbacks.
WEEK 7
We updated the game rules and cards.
WEEK 10-13
At this week our goal is to make the prototype real. Because the others except for Darren and I have come up with the updates of the game, we got to create the designs for the finished game. I design the back of the card and Darren design the map.
