I have been using Canvas for the last 4 years. I started using it as a teacher and then transitioned to the instructional technology specialist role where I work to create professional development for teachers on how to use Canvas.

In 2016, I created a pilot Canvas Badge program at Ereckson Middle School where teachers can work through professional learning modules at their own pace and earn digital badges and badge stickers on posters outside their classroom door.

Now the Canvas Badge program has grown to support three middle schools, the freshman center, and will be implemented at Allen High School in the Fall of 2018.
