My name is Crystal Trotter, and I live in Sherman, Texas where I just started my second year as principal at Whitewright Elementary School. Previously I have taught English 8-10, speech 7-8, and theater arts 7-8. I have also worked as a district Curriculum and Instruction Coordinator and as an instructional technology specialist. This is my 17th year in education. I have a BA in English and a M.Ed. in Educational Technology Leadership and am certified in Administration.

I love instructional technology and feel like I learn something new pretty much every day, which I love! I am a Google Certified Trainer, a Flipgrid Student Voice Ambassador, a Quizlet Ambassador, and a Nearpod PioNear. I'm very interested in gamificiation and blended learning for students and teachers. I hope to learn more about helping teachers to establish a growth mindset to continue to want to learn and grow as professionals.
