The talks will be held in room G.09, located in the left wing of the building on the ground floor.
The will be a local organiser waiting in the entrance lobby/atrium at the begining of each day to welcome you and show you to the room.
The coffee lunch breaks will be held in the staff and post-grad common room on the second floor.
Getting Here
On Foot
The entrance to the Fry Building is located on the corner of Woodland Road and University Road.
Train
The main train station in Bristol is Temple Meads. This is a half an hour walk on foot across the city center. Or, 15 minute drive, there are normally taxis waiting outside the station.
Bus
There are National Express buses that stop in central Bristol at the bus station, which is a 15 minute walk from the Fry Building.
There are several bus services that run throughout the Bristol area, in particular services from Temple Meads train station to the top of Park Row, stopping by Bristol Museum and Art Gallery just a few minutes walk from the Fry Building.
Plane
Bristol Airport is located to the south west of the city, and should provide flights to a thorough range of major cities. There are several options for transit from the airport to the city center and Fry Building (See here).
Bristol is also easily accessible by bus from Heathrow airport in London, which may offer a broader selection on flights.
Accommodation
There are plenty of local places to stay within a short walk from the Fry Building. This include the following:
Near the Fry Builing - Berkeley Square Hotel, Rodney Hotel and Clifton Hotel.
Closer to the city center, still within walking distance - Marriott Hotel, Clayton Hotel, Mercure Bristol Grand.
